Lynxmotion's A4WD2 rover robot chassis, made of anodized aluminum and Lexan, is a sturdy, modifiable and expandable chassis that's particularly well suited to developing autonomous or radio-controlled rover robots.
Enough room for the onboard electronics and two or three NiMH or LiPo batteries.

The lower part of the robot chassis has room for a 6V 2800mAh NiMH battery to power servos, while the space between the chassis and the upper deck can hold one or two 12V, 2800mAh NiMH batteries, a microcontroller (BotBoarduino, SSC-32, etc.), and a Sabertooth 2x12Amp.
This lets the robot carry a payload of 1.8kg. The most important accessory for this robot is the AL5D robotic arm, as well as various sensor mounts and IR distance sensors.
The Mechanics
The robot chassis is built with heavy-duty structural anodized aluminum brackets and ultra-tough, laser-cut Lexan panels. It includes four 12.0VDC motors (30:1 gear ratio) and 4.75-inch tires and wheels.
Robot Control
The robot chassis does not include any electronics. With this chassis you can build a robot controlled remotely via a handheld controller, autonomously, or with a mix of the two approaches (using a microcontroller such as Genuino together with a PS2 V2 controller).
