The Hitec HS-805BB maxi servo delivers up to 23.1 kg-cm of torque when powered at 6V.

With all this power available, it's the ideal servo to install at the base of robotic arms, even those with a high overall weight.

We used this maxi servo in the autonomous rover robotics project, where it's used in the shoulder joint of the gripper robotic arm. You can watch the assembly and testing steps in the dedicated video in the tutorial section.

The maxi servo features 2 ball bearings and a newly designed, high-performance circuit. All of this ensures superior torque as well as excellent resolution and centering.
